Why Buy External Hard Drives
When you’ve run out of storage capacity on your hard drive, or if it’s just too slow for your needs, it’s time to buy external hard drives. One of the biggest users of storage space is new software. As you upgrade the programs you use, you make larger and larger demands on your hard drive. The other storage hog is the fact that the more storage we have, the more we tend to save. So instead of keeping only the best pictures from our summer vacations, we keep them all. But running out of storage isn’t the only reason to buy an additional hard drive. You may need one (or more) for a server or a workstation with an older computer. Often the hard drives for these uses don’t need much in the way of capacity so a less expensive hard drive is the way to go.
