COMPANIES OFTEN EMAIL DEAD ADDRESSES
A recent study shows just how many companies actually fail to take inactive e-mail addresses off their email lists and found that some companies actually emailed inactive addresses for over three years and never remove them from their email blasts. Over half of the companies surveyed really didn’t monitor their email lists with any regularity and at least a third of the company’s not only kept emailing inactive address is but continued to do so at a fantastic rate. Around a fifth of those companies still emailed inactive address is but simply did so at a reduced rate and cut down on how many emails went out overall.
